Add another premium-era issue from the closing chapter of Lance Parrish's California Angels tenure with this 1992 Stadium Club #94, personally autographed by the eight-time Major League All-Star, three-time Gold Glove winner, six-time Silver Slugger winner and 1984 World Series champion.
The 1992 Stadium Club release was only the second year of Topps' premium Stadium Club brand, which had debuted in 1991. Stadium Club distinguished itself from traditional baseball-card sets through its emphasis on full-bleed photography and a clean, upscale presentation, making these cards particularly attractive choices for autographs.
Parrish's #94 followed his inaugural 1991 Stadium Club #166, giving a player collector an opportunity to pair his first two Stadium Club appearances. The 1992 card still features Parrish with the California Angels, making it one of his final card issues representing the organization before his move to Seattle.
Parrish had joined California in 1989 and spent four seasons with the organization. His Angels tenure was highlighted by an outstanding 1990 campaign, when he batted .268 with 24 home runs and 70 RBI while producing a 123 OPS+ and 4.5 WAR. That performance earned him his eighth career All-Star selection and sixth Silver Slugger Award.
The 1992 season marked the end of Parrish's Angels tenure. At age 36, he appeared in 24 games for California, collecting 19 hits with two doubles, four home runs and 11 RBI. He then continued the season with the Seattle Mariners, where he added eight home runs and 21 RBI. Overall, Parrish finished 1992 with 12 home runs and 32 RBI in 93 games between the two clubs.
Parrish's four seasons with the Angels produced 335 hits, 64 home runs and 182 RBI in 400 games, making California an important chapter beyond the Detroit years for which he is best remembered.

It is an excellent addition for collectors of Lance Parrish autographs, California Angels memorabilia, early Stadium Club cards, premium 1990s baseball issues, or comprehensive signed player collections.
