Add one of the final cards documenting Lance Parrish's California Angels tenure with this 1992 Fleer #66, personally autographed by the eight-time Major League All-Star, three-time Gold Glove winner, six-time Silver Slugger winner and 1984 World Series champion. Beckett confirms the card as 1992 Fleer #66 Lance Parrish, California Angels.

The card represents an interesting transition year in Parrish's career. He had joined California in 1989 after two seasons with Philadelphia and enjoyed his finest Angels campaign in 1990, when he hit .268 with 24 home runs and 70 RBI while earning both American League All-Star and Silver Slugger honors.

Parrish began the 1992 season with California, appearing in 24 games and batting .229 with 19 hits, four home runs and 11 RBI. He appeared in 22 games behind the plate, including 21 starts, before his Angels tenure came to an end.

He then continued the season with the Seattle Mariners, where he appeared in 69 games and hit eight home runs with 21 RBI. His role became more varied in Seattle, as the veteran saw time at catcher, first base and designated hitter. Combined between the Angels and Mariners, Parrish finished 1992 with 12 home runs and 32 RBI in 93 games.

That makes the 1992 Fleer #66 particularly appealing as an end-of-an-era issue. Although Parrish would finish the season in Seattle, the Fleer card still pictures him with California and therefore represents one of the last mainstream cards from his four-season Angels chapter.

Parrish's California tenure included 64 home runs from 1989 through his 24 games in 1992, highlighted by his final All-Star and Silver Slugger season in 1990. He ultimately completed a 19-year Major League career with 324 home runs and 1,070 RBI, establishing himself as one of the premier power-hitting catchers of his generation.

For the Parrish run, this is another nice closing-chapter Angels card. It pairs especially well with his 1992 Donruss #166 before the card issues begin reflecting his move to Seattle.
