Lance Parrish Autographed 1991 Score #37 California Angels Card

Add a great early-1990s issue of one of the premier power-hitting catchers of his generation with this 1991 Score #37 Lance Parrish card featuring him with the California Angels, personally autographed by the eight-time Major League All-Star.

This card was issued immediately following an outstanding 1990 season in which Parrish proved he remained among baseball's elite offensive catchers. He appeared in 133 games for California, batting .268 with 126 hits, 24 home runs, 70 RBI and 54 runs scored while producing a .789 OPS and 123 OPS+.

Parrish's performance earned him a selection to the 1990 American League All-Star team. It was the eighth and final All-Star selection of his career and his first as a member of the Angels.

He also captured the 1990 American League Silver Slugger Award at catcher, the sixth Silver Slugger of his career. That combination makes his 1991 Score #37 particularly appealing, as the card was produced directly after an All-Star and Silver Slugger season.

Parrish remained California's primary catcher during 1991, appearing in 119 games and hitting 19 home runs with 51 RBI. His power numbers added to an impressive career rsum that ultimately included 324 home runs, 1,070 RBI and 1,782 hits.

Best remembered for his years with Detroit, Parrish was a key member of the 1984 World Series Champion Tigers and established himself as one of the defining catchers of the 1980s before later playing for Philadelphia and California.
