Lance Parrish Autographed 1987 Fleer Update #U-96 Philadelphia Phillies Card

The 1987 Fleer Update #U-96 is particularly significant within a comprehensive Parrish collection because it reflects his move from the Detroit Tigers to the Philadelphia Phillies. While Parrish's regular 1987 Fleer #160 still pictures him with Detroit, the Update set gave Fleer an opportunity to show him with his new club. Parrish had spent his entire Major League career with Detroit before becoming a free agent following the 1986 season. After establishing himself as one of the game's most accomplished catchers, he moved to Philadelphia for 1987, beginning a two-season tenure with the Phillies.
