Featuring Steve Rogers with the Montreal Expos, this Steve Rogers autographed 1983 Topps #405 Montreal Expos card showcases the longtime right-handed ace during the prime of his career. Rogers spent his entire 13-season Major League career with Montreal and became one of the most accomplished pitchers in franchise history.

Rogers reached the Major Leagues with the Expos in 1973 and made an immediate impact, going 10-5 with a 1.54 ERA over 17 starts and finishing second in National League Rookie of the Year voting. He quickly became a fixture at the front of Montreal's starting rotation.

The 1982 season was one of Rogers' finest. He went 19-8 with a National League-leading 2.40 ERA, completing 13 of his 35 starts and throwing four shutouts over 277 innings. Rogers earned his fourth All-Star selection and finished second in National League Cy Young Award voting.

Rogers was also instrumental in the Expos' only postseason appearance in Montreal. During the strike-shortened 1981 season, he posted a 12-8 record with a 3.42 ERA and helped the Expos reach the postseason. He pitched brilliantly in October, including a complete-game shutout against Philadelphia in the NL Division Series and a complete-game victory over Los Angeles in the NLCS.

A five-time All-Star, Rogers finished his career with 158 victories, 1,621 strikeouts, 129 complete games and 37 shutouts, all in a Montreal uniform. The 1983 Topps #405 is an appealing addition for Expos collectors, Steve Rogers fans, franchise great collections, vintage Topps collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
