Add a signed card of future Silver Slugger catcher Michael Barrett with this 2002 Upper Deck #346 Montreal Expos issue.
This card comes from the flagship 2002 Upper Deck baseball set, a 500-card release that continued the company's tradition of premium photography, high-quality card stock, and innovative design. The expansive checklist features established stars, fan favorites, and emerging talent from across Major League Baseball, making it one of Upper Deck's signature flagship products of the early 2000s.
Selected by the Montreal Expos with the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 1995 MLB Draft, Michael Barrett enjoyed an 11-year Major League career with the Montreal Expos, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, and Toronto Blue Jays. Originally drafted as a shortstop, Barrett successfully transitioned to catcher in the minor leagues and developed into one of the National League's premier offensive backstops. He finished his career with 98 home runs, 424 RBIs, a .263 batting average, and earned the 2005 National League Silver Slugger Award.
Issued during one of Barrett's finest seasons with Montreal, this card captures him as the Expos' everyday catcher. In 2002, Barrett established career highs with 16 home runs and 54 RBIs, making this one of his key flagship cards from his breakout years with the club.
