Featuring Lee Lacy with the Pittsburgh Pirates, this Lee Lacy autographed 1982 Topps #752 Pittsburgh Pirates card showcases the versatile veteran during his successful tenure in Pittsburgh. Lacy brought a combination of contact hitting, speed and defensive versatility to the Pirates and remained a productive player well into his 30s.

Lacy began his Major League career with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1972 and appeared with three National League pennant-winning Dodgers clubs. After a brief stint with Atlanta and a return to Los Angeles, he joined Pittsburgh for the 1979 season.

In his first year with the Pirates, Lacy appeared in 84 regular-season games as Pittsburgh captured the National League pennant and defeated the Baltimore Orioles in seven games to win the 1979 World Series championship. He remained with the Pirates for six seasons and became an increasingly important part of their lineup.

Lacy enjoyed one of his finest seasons in 1982 at age 34, batting .312 with 116 hits, five home runs and 31 RBI while stealing a career-high 40 bases. Two years later, he batted a career-best .321 with 144 hits and 21 stolen bases during his final season in Pittsburgh.

Lacy played 16 Major League seasons with the Dodgers, Braves, Pirates and Orioles, finishing with 1,303 hits, a .286 batting average and 185 stolen bases. The 1982 Topps #752 is an appealing addition for Pirates collectors, Lee Lacy fans, 1979 World Series championship collections, vintage Topps collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
