Featuring Lee Lacy with the Pittsburgh Pirates, this Lee Lacy autographed 1981 Topps #332 Pittsburgh Pirates card showcases the versatile outfielder and infielder during the early portion of his six-season tenure in Pittsburgh. Lacy combined contact hitting, speed and defensive versatility throughout a 16-season Major League career.

Lacy began his Major League career with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1972 and appeared on three National League pennant-winning clubs during his time with the organization. After a brief stint with Atlanta, he returned to Los Angeles before joining Pittsburgh for the 1979 season.

In his first year with the Pirates, Lacy became part of the memorable 1979 World Series championship team. He appeared in 84 regular-season games and contributed during Pittsburgh's postseason run as the Pirates defeated Cincinnati in the NLCS and Baltimore in a seven-game World Series.

Lacy's role increased during the following seasons, and he enjoyed some of the most productive years of his career in Pittsburgh. In 1982, at age 34, he batted .312 with 116 hits and a career-high 40 stolen bases. Two years later, he hit .321 with 144 hits and 21 stolen bases during his final season with the Pirates.

Lacy played 16 Major League seasons with the Dodgers, Braves, Pirates and Orioles, finishing with 1,303 hits, a .286 batting average and 185 stolen bases. The 1981 Topps #332 is an appealing addition for Pirates collectors, Lee Lacy fans, 1979 World Series championship collections, vintage Topps collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
