Add a signed issue from one of Lance Parrish's strongest late-career seasons with this 1990 Bowman #295 California Angels card, personally autographed by the eight-time Major League All-Star, three-time Gold Glove winner, six-time Silver Slugger winner and 1984 World Series champion.

The 1990 Bowman #295 comes from Parrish's second season with the California Angels. After joining the club in 1989 following two years with Philadelphia, Parrish had established himself as California's primary catcher and entered 1990 still capable of producing at an elite level behind the plate.

The 1990 season proved to be an excellent one. At age 34, Parrish appeared in 133 games and batted .268 with 126 hits, 14 doubles, 24 home runs and 70 RBI. His .451 slugging percentage and 123 OPS+ demonstrated that he remained a dangerous offensive catcher well into his veteran years.

Parrish was rewarded with selection to the 1990 American League All-Star team. It was the eighth All-Star selection of his career and marked his return to the American League All-Star roster after representing Philadelphia in the National League in 1988. He also captured the sixth Silver Slugger Award of his career in 1990.

He remained a workhorse defensively as well. Parrish appeared in 131 games at catcher and made 125 starts behind the plate, handling 1,098 innings. He committed only six errors and posted a .993 fielding percentage.

The season was one of the last major peaks of Parrish's outstanding career. His 24 home runs were his highest single-season total since hitting 27 for Detroit in 1985, and his 4.5 WAR was his best mark since the Tigers' championship season of 1984.

For a comprehensive Parrish autograph collection, the 1990 Bowman #295 is therefore much more than another Angels card. It represents a season in which the veteran catcher demonstrated that, more than a decade after establishing himself in Detroit, he remained one of baseball's most productive players at his position.

Parrish ultimately completed a 19-year Major League career with 1,782 hits, 324 home runs and 1,070 RBI, along with eight All-Star selections, three Gold Gloves and six Silver Slugger Awards.
