Add a sharp early-1990s Score issue from Juan Samuels All-Star season to your collection with this 1991 Score #446 card featuring Samuel with the Los Angeles Dodgers, personally autographed by the three-time MLB All-Star.

The 1991 Score baseball set was an enormous 893-card release and marked the first time Score divided its flagship baseball set into two series. Samuels #446 is one of the very first cards in Series Two, which begins with card #442. The set features full-color photography surrounded by one of four solid-color border designs: black, blue, teal or white.

Samuel is correctly listed as card #446 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, appearing just a few cards into the second-series checklist. That makes the card a nice companion to his earlier 1990 Score issues, which document his transition from the New York Mets to Los Angeles.

The card was also issued during one of the highlights of Samuels Dodgers tenure. In 1991, Samuel earned his third career MLB All-Star selection and his only All-Star appearance as a Dodger. His combination of speed, extra-base ability and surprising power had made him one of the National Leagues more exciting players dating back to his years with Philadelphia.

The massive 1991 Score release also has an interesting place in hobby history. At the time of its release, it was the largest licensed Major League baseball card set yet produced, and its extensive checklist included numerous subsets and rookie cards of players such as Chipper Jones and Mike Mussina.
