Juan Samuel Autographed 1990 Score Rookie/Traded #33T Los Angeles Dodgers Card
Add an updated Dodgers issue to your collection with this 1990 Score Rookie/Traded #33T Juan Samuel card, personally autographed by the three-time MLB All-Star.
The 1990 Score Rookie/Traded set was Scores year-end companion to its regular 1990 release, created to feature players who had changed teams along with notable rookies who emerged during the season. The standard-size set contains 110 cards numbered 1T through 110T and was distributed through hobby accounts exclusively in complete factory-set form. The first 66 cards feature traded players, while the remaining 44 focus on rookies.
Samuel appears as card #33T with the Los Angeles Dodgers, making this an important updated-team card within his 1990 run. His regular 1990 Score #198 still depicts him with the New York Mets, while this Rookie/Traded issue reflects his move to Los Angeles.
Samuel joined the Dodgers for the 1990 season and immediately displayed the power-speed combination that had made him a star in Philadelphia. His time in Los Angeles would include another major career achievement when he earned his third MLB All-Star selection in 1991, and his only All-Star appearance as a Dodger.
The set itself is also memorable for collectors because its rookie portion includes Frank Thomas #86T, Todd Hundley, Ray Lankford and Derek Bell, along with the unusual Eric Lindros #100T card showing the future hockey superstar during his time as a baseball prospect.
