Chris Hammond Autographed 1991 Topps Tiffany #258 Cincinnati Reds Card

The 1991 Topps Tiffany #258 Chris Hammond is a premium early-career issue featuring the young left-handed pitcher with the Cincinnati Reds. He made seven starts for Cincinnati during his first Major League season, reaching the Majors during the Reds' memorable 1990 World Series championship campaign. Cincinnati went wire-to-wire in first place before sweeping the Oakland Athletics in the World Series.

Hammond later became a regular starting pitcher for the Florida Marlins, winning a career-high 15 games during the franchise's inaugural 1993 season. His career then produced an extraordinary second act after several years away from the Major Leagues.

Returning with the Atlanta Braves in 2002 at age 36, Hammond went 7-2 with a remarkable 0.95 ERA in 63 relief appearances, allowing only seven earned runs over 76 innings. His comeback extended his Major League career through 2006.
