Featuring Bob Horner with the Atlanta Braves, this Bob Horner autographed 1985 Fleer #328 Atlanta Braves card highlights one of the National League's most powerful hitters of the late 1970s and 1980s. Horner was a cornerstone of the Braves lineup after making the unusual jump directly from college baseball to the Major Leagues.

Atlanta selected Horner with the first overall pick in the 1978 MLB Draft following his standout career at Arizona State. He bypassed the minor leagues entirely and made his Major League debut that June, homering off future Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven in his first game. Despite playing only 89 games, Horner hit 23 home runs with 63 RBI and was named the 1978 National League Rookie of the Year.

Horner developed into one of Atlanta's premier power hitters, reaching 30 home runs for the first time in 1979 and earning an All-Star selection in 1982. That season he hit 32 home runs with 97 RBI as the Braves captured the National League West championship and returned to the postseason.

One of Horner's most memorable accomplishments came on July 6, 1986, when he hit four home runs in a single game against the Montreal Expos. He became only the 11th player in Major League history to accomplish the feat, further establishing his place in baseball's power-hitting record book.

Horner spent the majority of his 10-year Major League career with Atlanta and finished with 218 home runs and 685 RBI, including 215 homers in a Braves uniform. The 1985 Fleer #328 is an appealing addition for Braves collectors, Bob Horner fans, Rookie of the Year collections, power-hitter collections, 1985 Fleer set collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
