Add a signed card of four-time All-Star slugger Bob Horner with this 1987 Topps #660 Atlanta Braves issue.
This card comes from the iconic 1987 Topps set, one of the most recognizable baseball card releases of the 1980s. Featuring the famous woodgrain border design, the set remains a hobby favorite and one of Topps' most collected flagship issues.
Bob Horner enjoyed a standout 10-year Major League career, spending nearly his entire career with the Atlanta Braves before finishing with the St. Louis Cardinals. One of the National League's premier power hitters of the late 1970s and 1980s, Horner was a four-time National League All-Star and the 1978 National League Rookie of the Year. He finished his career with 218 home runs, 685 RBIs, and a .277 batting average.
Horner made an immediate impact upon reaching the Major Leagues in 1978, winning National League Rookie of the Year honors after being selected first overall in the amateur draft just months earlier. His most memorable individual performance came on July 6, 1986, when he became just the 11th player in Major League history to hit four home runs in a single game. Remarkably, despite Horner's historic feat, the Braves lost the game 118 to the Montreal Expos.
This card captures Horner during the latter stages of his outstanding Braves career, when he remained one of the National League's most feared power hitters.
