Tony Batista Autographed 2002 Fleer Focus Jersey Edition #8 Baltimore Orioles Card

Featuring Tony Batista during his All-Star season in Baltimore, this Tony Batista autographed 2002 Fleer Focus Jersey Edition #8 Baltimore Orioles card comes from Fleers 2002 Focus Jersey Edition release. The product continued the Fleer Focus brand while incorporating a strong memorabilia-oriented identity through its Jersey Edition theme and game-used insert content.

Batista entered the 2002 season after making an immediate impact following his arrival in Baltimore the previous year. Claimed off waivers from Toronto in June 2001, he responded by hitting 25 home runs and driving in 87 runs in only 72 games with the Orioles.

In 2002, Batista remained one of Baltimores primary power threats, appearing in 161 games while hitting 31 home runs and driving in 87 runs. His performance earned him a spot on the American League All-Star team, giving Batista his second career MLB All-Star selection after representing the Toronto Blue Jays in 2000.

Batista was instantly recognizable at the plate because of his extraordinarily wide-open batting stance, but his unconventional approach also produced considerable power. He reached the 30-home run mark three times, highlighted by career highs of 41 home runs and 114 RBI with Toronto in 2000. Over his 11-year Major League career, Batista accumulated 1,146 hits, 221 home runs and 718 RBI.

Combining the distinctive Fleer Focus Jersey Edition release with Batistas 2002 All-Star campaign, the 2002 Fleer Focus Jersey Edition #8 is an appealing addition for Baltimore Orioles collectors, Tony Batista fans, Fleer Focus collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
