Add a signature from one of the American League's dependable left-handed pitchers of the 1970s with this Ross Grimsley autographed 1978 Topps #691 Baltimore Orioles baseball card, available from Under the Radar Sports Promotions.

Ross Grimsley enjoyed an 11-season Major League career from 1971 through 1980 and a brief return in 1982, pitching for the Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, Montreal Expos, and Cleveland Indians. Known for his deceptive pitching style and ability to keep opposing hitters off balance, Grimsley established himself as a reliable starting pitcher during the 1970s.

Grimsley began his Major League career with the Cincinnati Reds in 1971 and became an important member of the team's pitching staff. He helped Cincinnati capture the 1972 National League pennant, appearing in the World Series against the Oakland Athletics, and contributed to another National League West Division title in 1973.

After joining the Baltimore Orioles in 1974, Grimsley developed into a dependable member of the starting rotation under Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver. He recorded 18 victories in 1974 and followed with 14 wins in 1975, helping Baltimore remain competitive in the American League East.

Grimsley enjoyed his finest individual season in 1978 with the Montreal Expos, posting an impressive 20-11 record with a 3.05 ERA. He became the first pitcher in Expos franchise history to win 20 games in a season and earned a selection to the National League All-Star team. His outstanding performance also resulted in a seventh-place finish in National League Cy Young Award voting.

Over his Major League career, Grimsley compiled 124 victories, 757 strikeouts, and a 3.81 ERA, establishing himself as one of the notable left-handed pitchers of his era.

The 1978 Topps #691 card features Grimsley in his Baltimore Orioles uniform, representing the final season of his successful tenure with the organization before joining Montreal. The classic 1978 Topps design makes this signed card an appealing collectible for Orioles fans and collectors of vintage baseball memorabilia.
