Add a signature from a three-time World Series champion and one of baseball's most respected managers and pitching instructors with this Roger Craig autographed 1990 Topps #351 San Francisco Giants baseball card, available from Under the Radar Sports Promotions.

Roger Craig enjoyed a remarkable career in Major League Baseball spanning more than four decades as a player, coach, and manager. A right-handed pitcher during his playing days, Craig appeared in the Major Leagues from 1955 through 1966 with the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, and Philadelphia Phillies.

Craig began his Major League career with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1955 and was a member of the franchise's historic 1955 World Series championship team, which defeated the New York Yankees to capture Brooklyn's only World Series title. He later helped the Los Angeles Dodgers win another championship in 1959 and was a member of the 1964 World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals.

Following his playing career, Craig developed a reputation as an outstanding pitching instructor. He became particularly associated with teaching the split-finger fastball, helping pitchers such as Jack Morris and Mike Scott develop the pitch into an effective weapon. His work as a pitching coach contributed to the success of the 1984 World Series champion Detroit Tigers, giving him another championship connection as a coach.

Craig became manager of the San Francisco Giants in September 1985 and helped transform the franchise into a National League contender. Under his leadership, the Giants captured the 1987 National League West Division championship, their first postseason appearance since 1971.

His greatest managerial achievement came in 1989, when he guided San Francisco to the National League pennant. The Giants defeated the Chicago Cubs in the National League Championship Series before facing the Oakland Athletics in the memorable Bay Area World Series.

Craig's Giants teams featured notable players such as Will Clark, Kevin Mitchell, Matt Williams, Robby Thompson, and Rick Reuschel. His enthusiastic leadership and popular "Humm Baby" expression became closely associated with the franchise's resurgence during the late 1980s.

The 1990 Topps #351 card features Craig as manager of the San Francisco Giants following their 1989 National League championship season. The colorful 1990 Topps design, with its distinctive geometric borders and bold team graphics, makes this an appealing collectible from one of the most memorable periods in Giants history.

Signature obtained through a private signing conducted by Under the Radar Sports Promotions and guaranteed to pass any third-party authentication service.

Craig passed away in 2023, making his signed baseball cards especially meaningful to collectors seeking autographs of former Major League players and managers who are no longer available for signings.

This autographed Roger Craig card is an excellent addition to collections featuring San Francisco Giants managers, 1989 National League champions, Brooklyn Dodgers World Series winners, Detroit Tigers championship personnel, and signed vintage Topps baseball cards.
