Featuring Pat Listach with the Milwaukee Brewers, this Pat Listach autographed 1995 Donruss #410 Milwaukee Brewers card represents the speedy infielder who made an immediate impact upon reaching the Major Leagues and captured American League Rookie of the Year honors in 1992.
The Brewers selected Listach in the fifth round of the 1988 MLB Draft out of Arizona State University. He made Milwaukee's roster in 1992 and quickly established himself as the club's starting shortstop during an exciting season in which the Brewers won 92 games and finished second in the American League East.
Listach enjoyed an outstanding rookie campaign, batting .290 with 168 hits, 93 runs scored, 54 stolen bases and 47 RBI in 149 games. His 54 steals ranked second in the American League, and his combination of hitting and speed earned him the 1992 American League Rookie of the Year Award.
Injuries prevented Listach from duplicating his rookie-year production, but he remained with Milwaukee through the 1996 season. His versatility allowed him to contribute at shortstop, second base and in the outfield before he finished his Major League playing career with the Houston Astros in 1997.
Listach played six Major League seasons and later built a lengthy career as a professional coach and manager. The 1995 Donruss #410 is an appealing addition for Brewers collectors, Pat Listach fans, Rookie of the Year collections, 1990s Donruss collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
