Add a signed Future Star card of All-Star catcher Michael Barrett with this 1999 Stadium Club #349 Montreal Expos issue.
This card comes from the premium 1999 Stadium Club set, one of Topps' most acclaimed releases of the late 1990s. Known for its full-bleed photography, high-quality gloss finish, and outstanding action images, Stadium Club remains a favorite among collectors. Card #349 is part of the set's Future Stars (FS) series, highlighting some of baseball's brightest young talents.
Selected by the Montreal Expos with the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 1995 MLB Draft, Michael Barrett went on to enjoy an 11-year Major League career with the Montreal Expos, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, and Toronto Blue Jays. Originally drafted as a shortstop, Barrett successfully transitioned to catcher in the minor leagues and developed into one of the National League's top offensive backstops. He finished his career with 98 home runs, 424 RBIs, a .263 batting average, and captured the 2005 National League Silver Slugger Award.
This Future Star card showcases Barrett early in his Major League career, when he was regarded as one of the Expos' top young players. The premium Stadium Club photography and Future Star designation make it one of his most attractive mainstream issues from the late 1990s.
