A two-time National League All-Star, four-time Gold Glove Award winner, two-time National League stolen base champion, and two-time World Series champion, Grissom compiled 2,251 career hits, 227 home runs, and 429 stolen bases while earning a reputation as one of baseball's finest all-around players.

Although issued in 1995, this card features Grissom as a member of the Montreal Expos, where he blossomed into a star. During his Expos career, he became one of the National League's premier leadoff hitters and defensive outfielders, helping lead the legendary 1994 Expos to the best record in Major League Baseball before the season was cut short by the players' strike.

Following the 1994 season, Grissom joined the Atlanta Braves and helped capture the 1995 World Series Championship, famously recording the final out of the Fall Classic to secure the franchise's first championship in Atlanta.
