Although issued in 1995, this card features Grissom as a member of the Montreal Expos, where he developed into one of the National League's premier leadoff hitters and defensive outfielders. During his tenure with Montreal, Grissom was a cornerstone of the franchise and played a key role on the legendary 1994 Expos team that finished with the best record in baseball.

Following his departure from Montreal, Grissom joined the Atlanta Braves and helped capture the 1995 World Series Championship, famously recording the final out of the Fall Classic.
