Add a signature from one of baseball's legendary power hitters and an important figure in the history of integration with this Luke Easter autographed 1954 Topps #23 Cleveland Indians baseball card, featuring PSA/DNA autograph authentication, available from Under the Radar Sports Promotions.

Luke Easter was one of the most powerful hitters of his generation, enjoying a remarkable professional baseball career that included the Negro Leagues, Major League Baseball, and many successful seasons in the minor leagues. Known for his tremendous strength, towering home runs, and larger-than-life personality, Easter became a beloved figure among baseball fans in Cleveland, Buffalo, and Rochester.

Before reaching the Major Leagues, Easter played for the Homestead Grays, one of the most celebrated organizations in Negro League history. He was a member of the Grays' 1948 Negro National League championship team, playing alongside legendary figures such as Buck Leonard. His exceptional power helped establish him as one of the most feared sluggers in professional baseball.

Easter joined the Cleveland Indians organization following the integration of Major League Baseball and made his big-league debut in 1949. Although he did not reach the Majors until his thirties, he quickly demonstrated the extraordinary hitting ability that had made him a standout in the Negro Leagues.

His finest Major League seasons came during the early 1950s. Easter hit 28 home runs with 107 RBIs in 1950, followed by 27 home runs and 103 RBIs in 1951. He continued his impressive production in 1952, hitting a career-high 31 home runs with 97 RBIs for Cleveland.

During his Major League career, Easter hit 93 home runs and drove in 340 runs, accomplishments made even more impressive by his relatively late arrival in the Major Leagues and the injuries that affected his playing time.

Easter's baseball legacy extended well beyond Cleveland. After his Major League career, he became a legendary minor league slugger, particularly with the Buffalo Bisons and Rochester Red Wings. His tremendous power and popularity made him one of the most celebrated players in International League history, and he continued playing professionally into his late forties.

The 1954 Topps #23 card features Easter in his Cleveland Indians uniform and represents one of the final Major League baseball card issues from his playing career. The 1954 Topps set is widely admired for its colorful design, featuring a large player portrait alongside a smaller action image and bold team graphics. Its distinctive artwork and connection to baseball's golden era make it a favorite among vintage card collectors.

This card features Luke Easter's autograph with PSA/DNA authentication, providing collectors with the added confidence of an established third-party autograph authentication service. Offered by Under the Radar Sports Promotions, this signed vintage card represents an opportunity to own a collectible associated with a significant figure in both Negro League and Major League Baseball history.

Easter tragically passed away in 1979, making his autograph particularly meaningful to collectors of deceased players and historic baseball figures. His legacy as a powerful hitter, Negro League standout, and beloved minor league legend continues to be celebrated by baseball historians and collectors.

This autographed Luke Easter card is an exceptional addition to collections featuring Cleveland Indians players, Negro League veterans, historic African American baseball pioneers, PSA/DNA-authenticated autographs, and signed vintage 1950s Topps baseball cards.
