Juan Samuel Autographed 1996 Fleer #137 Kansas City Royals Card

The 1996 Fleer set contains 600 cards issued in a single series and represented a dramatic change from Fleer's colorful 1995 release. Fleer marketed the product around its Different by Design concept, using borderless full-color action photography and an unusual matte-finish card stock rather than the glossy surfaces that had become increasingly common during the 1990s. Player names, teams and positions were stamped in gold foil on the fronts.

Samuel's card represents his brief return to Kansas City late in his career. After spending most of 1995 with Detroit, Samuel finished that season with the Royals.
