Featuring Jack Clark with the San Francisco Giants, this Jack Clark autographed 1985 Donruss #65 San Francisco Giants card represents the powerful right-handed hitter following the conclusion of his decade-long tenure with the organization. Clark developed into one of the National League's most dangerous power hitters while establishing himself as a cornerstone of the Giants lineup.

Clark made his Major League debut with San Francisco in 1975 and became an everyday player by 1977. His breakout came in 1978, when he batted .306 with 25 home runs and 98 RBI, helping the Giants win 89 games and remain in the National League West race throughout the season.

He earned his first All-Star selection in 1978 and returned to the All-Star Game in 1979, when he produced 26 home runs and a career-high 111 RBI. Clark consistently combined power with an ability to reach base, hitting at least 20 home runs in five different seasons during his original Giants tenure.

After the 1984 season, San Francisco traded Clark to the St. Louis Cardinals. He became a key part of two National League pennant-winning Cardinals clubs and produced one of the defining moments of the 1985 postseason, hitting a three-run home run off Tom Niedenfuer in the ninth inning of NLCS Game 6 to send St. Louis to the World Series.

A four-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, Clark played 18 Major League seasons and finished with 1,826 hits, 340 home runs, 1,180 RBI and a .379 career on-base percentage. The 1985 Donruss #65 is a late Giants issue and an appealing addition for San Francisco collectors, Jack Clark fans, power-hitting collections, 1980s Donruss collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
