Glenn Davis Autographed 1992 Fleer #4 Baltimore Orioles Card
Featuring Glenn Davis with the Baltimore Orioles, this Glenn Davis autographed 1992 Fleer #4 Baltimore Orioles card showcases the two-time National League All-Star following his move from Houston to Baltimore. Davis arrived with the Orioles after establishing himself as one of the National League's most consistent power hitters during the late 1980s.
Davis spent his first seven Major League seasons with the Houston Astros, emerging as a star during their 1986 NL West championship season. He hit 31 home runs with 101 RBI, earned his first All-Star selection and finished second to Mike Schmidt in National League MVP voting.
From 1986 through 1990, Davis hit at least 20 home runs in five consecutive seasons. He reached a career-high 34 homers in 1989 and earned his second All-Star selection, giving Houston a dependable power presence in the middle of its lineup.
Baltimore acquired Davis before the 1991 season, bringing the veteran first baseman to the American League. Injuries limited his time with the Orioles, but he produced his best Baltimore season in 1992, when he appeared in 106 games and hit 13 home runs with 48 RBI.
Davis played 10 Major League seasons with the Astros and Orioles, finishing with 190 home runs and 603 RBI. The 1992 Fleer #4 is an appealing Baltimore issue for Orioles collectors, Glenn Davis fans, 1990s Fleer collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
