Featuring the veteran right-handed reliever during his time on Chicagos North Side, this George Frazier autographed 1986 Donruss #411 Chicago Cubs card comes from one of the most recognizable Donruss releases of the 1980s. The 1986 Donruss set is distinguished by its dark blue borders and slanted stripe design surrounding the player photography.

Frazier joined the Chicago Cubs in 1984 and appeared in 54 games out of the bullpen, helping the club capture the National League East title and reach the postseason for the first time since 1945. He also made three appearances during the 1984 National League Championship Series against the San Diego Padres.

In 1985, Frazier remained a heavily used member of the Chicago bullpen, making 66 appearances and pitching 104 innings. His ability to work multiple innings made him a valuable relief option during an era when bullpen roles were considerably less specialized than they are today.

Frazier pitched 10 Major League seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Cubs and Minnesota Twins. His career included appearances in three World Serieswith the Yankees in 1981, Cardinals in 1982 and Twins in 1987. He finished his playing career as a World Series champion with Minnesota in 1987, making three scoreless appearances against St. Louis in the Fall Classic.

With its distinctive 1986 Donruss design and connection to a reliever from Chicagos memorable 1984 division championship club, the 1986 Donruss #411 is an appealing addition for Cubs collectors, George Frazier fans, Donruss set collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
