Add a signed card of one of the American Leagues premier power hitters of the 1980s and early 1990s with this George Bell autographed 1992 Topps Traded #9T Chicago White Sox card. The Traded release captures Bell following his move across Chicago from the Cubs to the White Sox, making it a notable team-change issue from the former American League MVPs career.
Bell arrived on the South Side for the 1992 season and immediately supplied the White Sox with a major run-producing presence. Playing primarily as the clubs designated hitter, he appeared in 155 games and collected 160 hits, 27 doubles and 25 home runs while driving in 112 runs. His 112 RBI ranked second on the team behind Frank Thomas, while Bell led Chicago in home runs.
Long before joining Chicago, Bell established himself as one of the most feared hitters in baseball with the Toronto Blue Jays. His greatest season came in 1987, when he was named American League Most Valuable Player after batting .308 with 47 home runs and 134 RBI. Bell finished his 12-year Major League career with 1,702 hits, 265 home runs and 1,002 RBI, giving this signed card added appeal beyond its White Sox connection.
