Add a signed card of American League MVP George Bell with this 1984 Topps #278 Toronto Blue Jays issue.
This card comes from the classic 1984 Topps set, one of the most recognizable baseball card releases of the decade. Featuring the colorful dual-photo design unique to the 1984 flagship set, the set remains a favorite among collectors and showcases many of the era's biggest stars.
George Bell enjoyed an outstanding 12-year Major League career, playing for the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs. One of the American League's premier power hitters during the 1980s, Bell was a three-time American League All-Star, three-time Silver Slugger Award winner, and the 1987 American League Most Valuable Player. He finished his career with 1,702 hits, 265 home runs, 1,002 RBIs, and a .278 batting average.
Bell became the first player in Toronto Blue Jays history to win the American League MVP Award, capturing the honor in 1987 after batting .308 with 47 home runs, 134 RBIs, and leading the league in RBIs and total bases. Along with teammates Jesse Barfield and Lloyd Moseby, Bell formed the legendary "Killer B's" outfield that helped transform the Blue Jays into perennial contenders throughout the 1980s.
This card captures Bell during his emergence as one of Toronto's brightest young stars, just a few seasons before reaching the pinnacle of his remarkable career.
