Featuring Dave Cash with the Montreal Expos, this Dave Cash autographed 1979 Topps #395 Montreal Expos card represents the three-time All-Star second baseman during the final season of his productive tenure in Montreal. Known as a durable contact hitter and dependable middle infielder, Cash was a key contributor for the Pirates, Phillies and Expos during the 1970s.

Cash reached the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1969 and became the club's regular second baseman. He was a member of Pittsburgh's 1971 World Series championship team, appearing in all seven games of the Fall Classic as the Pirates defeated the Baltimore Orioles.

Following the 1973 season, Cash joined the Philadelphia Phillies and enjoyed three of his finest years. He earned three consecutive National League All-Star selections from 1974 through 1976 and led the league with 213 hits in 1975. In 1976, Cash collected 189 hits and scored 111 runs while helping Philadelphia win its first National League East championship.

Cash signed with Montreal before the 1977 season and immediately provided stability at second base. He appeared in 153 games in both 1977 and 1978, collecting 169 hits in his first Expos season and 164 the following year. The 1979 Topps #395 captures Cash near the conclusion of his three-season tenure in Montreal.

Over 12 Major League seasons, Cash accumulated 1,571 hits, 256 doubles and a .283 career batting average while playing for the Pirates, Phillies, Expos and Padres. The 1979 Topps #395 is an appealing addition for Expos collectors, Dave Cash fans, 1970s baseball collections, vintage Topps collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
