Featuring Darren Daulton with the Philadelphia Phillies, this Darren Daulton autographed 1986 Topps #264 Philadelphia Phillies card is an early-career issue of the catcher who would become one of the most recognizable Phillies players of the 1990s. Known to fans as Dutch, Daulton developed into a team leader, run producer and three-time National League All-Star.

The Phillies selected Daulton in the 25th round of the 1980 MLB Draft, and he made his Major League debut with Philadelphia in 1983. His early career was spent developing behind veteran catchers before he eventually took over as the Phillies' primary catcher.

Daulton's breakthrough came in 1992, when he batted .270 with 27 home runs and a National League-leading 109 RBI. He earned his first All-Star selection, won a Silver Slugger Award and finished sixth in National League MVP voting.

He followed with another outstanding season in 1993, hitting 24 home runs with 105 RBI and earning his second consecutive All-Star selection. As the Phillies' primary catcher and one of the clubhouse leaders, Daulton helped Philadelphia win 97 games, capture the National League pennant and advance to the World Series.

A three-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, Daulton spent nearly his entire 14-season Major League career with Philadelphia before finishing 1997 with the Florida Marlins and winning a World Series championship. The 1986 Topps #264 is an appealing early issue for Phillies collectors, Darren Daulton fans, 1993 National League championship collections, vintage Topps collectors or collectors assembling comprehensive autographed player runs.
