The 1995 Stadium Club #360 Chris Hammond features the left-handed pitcher with the Florida Marlins in Topps' photography-driven premium brand. Personally autographed by Hammond, this card combines Stadium Club's signature full-bleed presentation with an original member of the Marlins pitching staff.

Introduced in 1991, Stadium Club was created as a premium alternative to traditional Topps baseball cards. From the beginning, the brand emphasized high-quality photography, glossy card stock and minimal front-side graphics, allowing the player image to command much of the card's visual presentation.

The 1995 Stadium Club set continued that philosophy during a period when card manufacturers were increasingly experimenting with foil, chromium surfaces and elaborate graphics. Stadium Club remained particularly recognizable for making photography the centerpiece, giving Hammond's #360 a distinctly different appearance from his 1995 Finest, Fleer, Pinnacle and SkyBox E-Motion cards.

That photography-first approach also works especially well for an autographed card. Hammond's genuine hand-signed signature adds another layer to a card already built around a large player image, making the issue attractive for both player collectors and fans of signed Stadium Club cards.

The #360 continues Hammond's Stadium Club run following his 1993 Stadium Club #209 Cincinnati Reds card and 1994 Stadium Club #367 Florida Marlins issue. Together, those cards document his transition from Cincinnati to Florida while also showing the evolution of Topps' premium Stadium Club brand.

Hammond became part of the Florida Marlins before the expansion franchise played its first game. Florida selected him from Cincinnati in the 1992 MLB Expansion Draft, adding the experienced left-hander to its inaugural pitching rotation.

He responded with the most productive win total of his Major League career. During Florida's inaugural 1993 season, Hammond made 32 starts and finished 15-12, with his 15 victories leading the first Marlins team.

Hammond remained with Florida through 1997, spending five seasons with the franchise during its formative years. His Marlins tenure represents a substantial portion of a career that ultimately took him through seven Major League organizations.

Originally selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the sixth round of the 1986 MLB Draft out of the University of Alabama, Hammond made his Major League debut on July 16, 1990. His career later became notable for one of the era's most impressive pitching comebacks.

After three seasons outside the Major Leagues, Hammond returned at age 36 with the Atlanta Braves in 2002. Working primarily in relief, he produced an extraordinary 7-2 record and 0.95 ERA across 63 appearances, allowing only seven earned runs in 76 innings.

The comeback extended his career through 2006. Hammond ultimately pitched parts of 14 Major League seasons for the Reds, Marlins, Red Sox, Braves, Yankees, Athletics and Padres.
